Navigation tips

Florence centre is walkable - most days you won't need transport.
Linkin Park is at Ippodromo del Visarno in Parco delle Cascine, west of the centre along the Arno. Leave plenty of time and expect crowds leaving after the show.
The Florence to Rome train leaves Firenze S.M.N. at 12:14 and arrives Roma Termini 13:49 - be at the platform ~20 min early.
The Rome Airbnb is in Trastevere (Viale Glorioso 13); the Colosseum and Forum are across the river - allow time to get over there for the 11:00 entry.
Tue 30 June is a double-header: Colosseum & Forum, then Villa Borghese the same afternoon. Tight schedule, don't dawdle over lunch.

Suggestions

Pre-book timed entries (Uffizi, Villa Borghese, Colosseum) and carry the tickets/QR codes offline.
Sunday 28 June: Uffizi at 10:15, Boboli in the afternoon, then bistecca at Da Aldone at 20:00 - a full but great day.
Hit Piazzale Michelangelo around 20:00 - 20:30 on the 27th for the best light over Florence.
Churches and some galleries need shoulders and knees covered - keep a layer in the bag.

Extra info

It's late June - 30C+. Hats, sunscreen, refillable water bottles. Public fountains (nasoni) are safe to drink from.
Carry some cash - smaller trattorias and panino spots aren't always card-friendly.
